Kindergarten excursion

The kindergarten was on its first excursion. They went to the Botanical Garden in Legon. The children could run, climb and ride a ropeway. For lunch they went back to the kindergarten. All the children had a lot of fun and are already looking forward to more trips.

Easter at the GISA

Today was a special day. All children and students could look forward to a little surprise from the Easter Bunny.

We wish all students and parents a wonderful Easter!

Monday ritual with a difference

On Monday, we conducted our first Monday ritual among ourselves and without parents. That was very strange.

With much joy, the contributions were recorded and will be sent virtually to the parents before Easter.

In this way we wish everyone a happy Easter!

Class 1-2 learns about the Viking script

In the last few weeks, the first and second grade have accompanied *Witch Lilli on her adventures* and learned about Viking script. All the children wanted to try it out and came up with some great words. The result is something to be proud of. Can you read it?

You are never too small to be a superhero!

In the past weeks, the children of the kindergarten and the nursery have been dealing with the topic “Superheroes”.

The children have thought about what superpowers they have and how they can use them in everyday life. In addition, they got to know and discussed numerous of  “everyday heroes”.

The children explored how superheroes are created in films and comics. They found out where there are real heroes and which ones are fictional. The children learned how special effects are created and at the end they are flying by themselves.

It was an action-packed and exciting time for 20 little superheroes.  We are looking forward to more adventures.

Class representatives of the class 1/2

Class 1/2 elected their class representatives today.
First, we had to think about how a class representative behaves and what characteristics he/she should have. After this each child was allowed to write down two names on their own ballot paper. Now the votes were counted and the new class representatives were congratulated!
