Foreword Pedagogy

The educators at the GISA are convinced that school must be more than an institution where reading and writing are learnt and where knowledge in the various fields and subjects is taught. Nowadays, school must also be a place where students meet adults, who receive them with understanding and warmth and have an open ear for their questions and problems.

Daily life in school should not just consist of a series of lessons but should be lively and contain variety. Apart from participating in games and sports, GISA pupils also have the chance to participate in art and craft activities as well as experiences beyond the classroom like excursions, school trips, watching plays and performances and many more.

In all facets of the GISA, the children are accompanied and supported by our entire school community. The pedagogical approach of the GISA is varied, innovative and tailored to meet the needs of our pupils.
